Thanks to an environmental initiative promoted by DoveConviene.it, I can finally announce that our site is now carbon neutral!
The initiative in question is called "my blog is CO2 neutral" and its operation is very simple: the blogger declares his willingness to reduce the ecological footprint of his site and DoveConviene.it, in collaboration with iplantatree.org, will plant a tree in areas undergoing reforestation processes.
The beneficial effect of this initiative is guaranteed. Indeed, every year a blog or a website produces an average of 3.6 kg of carbon dioxide, whereas a tree is able to absorb as much as 5 kg per year.
